Call for Papers and Instructions for Abstract Submission
Eighth International Conference on Recirculating Aquaculture
Roanoke, Virginia, August 20-22, 2010

The International Conference on Recirculating Aquaculture (ICRA) is requesting abstracts for papers to be presented at the Eighth International Conference on Recirculating Aquaculture. In addition to publishing a 1-2 page abstract in the conference proceedings, authors will share their research through an oral presentation, or as a poster. For consideration, abstracts (1-2 pages in length) must be received by Friday, March 19, 2010. Authors of accepted abstracts will be notified by March 31, 2010. Abstracts will be edited in-house and published in a volume of proceedings, which will be available at the conference.

Conference organizers have identified the following session topics (for more details on each topic, please click here):

• Recirculating Aquaculture Systems in Penaeid Shrimp Culture
• Recirculating Aquaculture Systems for Salmonids
• Recirculating Aquaculture System Technology for Mollusk Culture
• Recirculating Aquaculture Systems Process Control
• Fish Health/Recirculating Aquaculture Biosecurity
• Culture of Algae as an Alternative Fuel Source
• Innovative Feeds for Recirculating Aquaculture Systems
• Sustainable Recirculating Aquaculture Systems

In addition to these identified topic sessions, other sessions will be formed based upon abstracts received, hence we encourage submissions on any topic related to recirculating aquaculture.

Presenters are strongly encouraged to submit their complete manuscript to the International Journal of Recirculating Aquaculture (IJRA). IJRA accepts submissions of both research notes and full research articles for peer-review and possible inclusion in the journal. IJRA articles are listed by several citation and abstracting services, and available at numerous university and aquaculture/agriculture libraries worldwide. For complete details and author instructions, visit IJRA online - www.ijra.com.
